SCULPTURIZED!
Concept development, production & realisation of the 2 editions (2009-2011) of this art & multimedia project for youngsters in the Middelheimmuseum, an open air museum of sculptural art in Antwerp, Belgium,
This pioneering multimedia project from 2009 & 2011 gave youngsters a full-scale opportunity to experiment with different crafts and techniques to express their artistic and contemporary view on some of the museum’s collection most extravagant sculptures. This fresh input of text, audio, graphics and image first got exposed during some nightly sessions, and then became part of an interactive ‘art radar’, especially developed for the outdoor museum into a free smartphone application providing the audience with an original visitor’s experience throughout the whole park.
The follow-up and update of this app are under contruction as we speak. Further development and release are planned for 2015.
